went up to the kern river over the weekend to help my buddy steven move his grandma’s things out of her place.

got to hang out by the river / fix air conditioners / fix toliets and enjoy the 100 degree heat.

in the past week, a lot of my time has been spent in the palm springs area. and have had quite a few drive-bys of these wind turbines.

here is a portrait of my friend Chris. its from when we went hiking in Yosemite. it was the first time ive been in snow since i was probably around 9 years old. kinda weird to think that i live in a place where i can go surf / snowboard in the same day, yet i haven’t been to the snow in so long. i expect more trips in store for me in the near future.
