I have decided to do a Photoshops tutorials. The first subject was decided to be how I get my color tones. I understand that this video goes pretty fast and isn’t really intended for people that don’t know anything about Photoshop already. Had to start somewhere and needed to see if you guys are actually interested in seeing these. Let me know if you liked it and if you would like to see more. Also suggest topics / effects/ techniques that you would be interested in learning. Please no HDR requests.
I am a pretty big fan of Instagram, as I am sure most of you are already aware. I have recently discovered the website INK361 . All you do is login with your Instagram info and you are able to see your feed and all the other good stuff you see in the app. Though one of the coolest features is being able to look at the map of where a photo was taken. At the bottom right corner of the website you have 4 options “Small / Medium / Full / Map”. Simply click on Map and it shows you a map of where the photos in your feed were taken. Which is really awesome when you are following people from around the globe. This works even if you don’t “tag” the location you are at.
Another thing you can do is when you see a cool photo at a awesome looking location you can click on the photo which takes you to a new page with just that photo.
Then click “View on map” and you get a zoomed in map of the exact location the photo was taken.
Of course this is only if the photo was taken while having the “GPS location on” active on your iphone. Also it doesn’t work for photos that weren’t taken with the iphone or camera device with built in GPS location data.
Just something cool that I thought I would share.
On a side note, I just realized that this can also be used in a very creepy / stalkerish way as well. Don’t use it like that, please. Also if I just scared you and you wish to turn off GPS tags on your phone go in your phones Settings > Location Services > and turn off Camera.
Went for a hike yesterday and brought along the infrared camera. It was refreshing being able to take photos during the middle of a normal sunny day, and know they wont look like normal boring snapshots that usually come out at that time.
This again is infrared processed into false color.
I was fortunate enough to be able to film Caity Peters again for her amazing cover of David Guetta’s song “Titanium”.
Be sure to check out her YouTube page to find past videos, and make sure to show everyone you know this video!
For everyone in the Los Al / Seal Beach and surrounding areas. My sister, Alexis, works at Blend salon in Los Alamitos and is a very talented hair stylist. If you are looking for a cut / color / weave or whatever you should definitely go and book her for an appointment. She has been cutting my hair for the past couple of years, and is the main reason as to why I am always looking so dashing.
