when dub fx was playing at UCI i shot a video of his first song he performed.

got a text yesterday from my buddy mike that dub fx was going to be playing at UCI for free in an hour. so i rushed over in order to catch this incredible musician perform.

one of the best live performances i have seen. true, natural talent right there.

slump

just got back from a camping trip with some friends. headed up to the redwoods and then down to big sur. both are really beautiful places this time of year.

i forget how refreshing it is to be on the road. even though it’s tiresome to be in the car for hours on end, and hard on the body to sleep on the ground in cold weather. you get to turn off your cell phone and get away from the computer, tv and advertisements that are all around. you can sit and stare at the fire and think about nothing or think about things you normally wouldn’t. hanging out with buddies and shooting the shit. good times

went and saw timmy curran / donavon frankenreiter and oh how can i forgot….. sugar ray! freaking sugar ray…. i can honestly say, i never thought i would ever see sugar ray in concert.

timmy curran killed it. donavon was amazing as usual. and sugar ray was actually pretty good. they only played 4 of their most famous songs, but still really cool to see in person.
