today i got to hang out with christine olson for the last time for awhile. she is moving to utah with her husband paul and is going to dominate the photo business there! she is an incredible photographer and possibly the most genuine person i’ve ever had the chance to meet and be friends with.

im going to miss her and our shared harry potter passion, and want to wish her the bestest of luck

half way

man it is [tough] to update this blog with how busy i have been over the past month.

i’m just over half way done with this session [may / june] and it has been one hell of a session so far

i’m taking ADV311 / PSY187 / ENG395 / finished business launch and just got done with grad review [wooo hooo] oh not to mention i TA for chris orwigs advanced photoshop class [almost forgot that one]
not doing to amazing in those ge’s but i’m ok with that.
more than anything i am really excited about all of the stuff coming from 311. I never thought it would be something i enjoy shooting so much [commercial stuff that is] and i am [pumped] to be able to build a portfolio out of it.
this session is really draining me though. i have never been so excited for a break since probably 2 summers ago when i took a class called LS [lighting studio]

i am rambling on but one last thing.
i cant even begin to tell you guys how excited i am to be graduating this august. going through school i get those up and down moments where i sometimes ask myself what am i doing here? and is this something i really want to do? [that was earlier on when first starting]
but i can clearly say that i no longer think like that. brooks has been one of the best experiences in my life and i am so grateful for all of it.
i couldn’t have done any of this without the love and support from my DAD [Gary Byrum / the man / the myth / the legend...in my book at least] I love you more than you know dad! thank you for everything!

just stuff i had to get off my chest before the pictures

so we have nick blowing glass. thanks for letting me shoot nick!

next we have mr. Hobie Hansen getting all kinds of happy with his brand new carrrrr!!! but no he doesn’t want to drive it on land he wants to take it to the lake.
thanks for modeling hobie. and thanks for drifting my car ever so gracefully on paradise road.
